On 10 June 2020, Prof. Gianesini was expected at Harvard for a lecture on the document dedicated to the international guidelines that he wrote in collaboration with another 53 specialists from various countries. Following the COVID emergency, the lecture was delivered remotely, examining together with the Harvard colleagues the similarities and controversies concerning the scientific recommendations on venous and lymphatic disease.
