On 24 May, on the occasion of the XIII National Congress of Vascular Diseases of Morocco, Gianesini delivered an invited lecture on the important discovery published by his Research team in Nature's prestigious journal Scientific Reports concerning the first identification in humans of a component of the lymphatic vessel wall able to translate physical flow signals into physiological or pathological biochemical messages. Gianesini then also spoke on the correct management of patients affected by venous ulcers.
