On 4 November 2022, Gianesini was invited to deliver an honorary lecture during the annual congress of the Mexican Society of Vascular Surgery, presenting the results of the Ministry of Health study he conducted on the use of compression stockings in healthy subjects undergoing prolonged standing in the workplace.
