On 7 July, Gianesini delivered the honorary lecture of the 43rd annual congress of the Japanese Society of Phlebology in Matsuyama city. The theme concerned educational projects in phlebo-lymphology and advanced treatments of varicose veins, in his capacity as president of the v-WIN foundation and president-elect of the World Union of Phlebology.
