Gianesini was invited to deliver a keynote lecture on Challenges in Phlebology during the annual congress of the Argentine Phlebology Society in Buenos Aires on 15 March 2024. Gianesini focused on the need to approach the patient with evidence-based scientific data, avoiding sensationalistic promotion of new devices and/or products, and instead reinforcing the concept of the necessary training dedicated to venous disease.
